In partnership with the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network, NHMA extended its advocacy efforts and provider-focused conversations surrounding chronic illnesses in Hispanic/Latino health. By recruiting federal government partners, oncologists and patient advocates, NHMA brought a multidisciplinary perspective to the field of cancer research, prevention and treatment.
