Why Our Chapters MatterOur chapters serve as the heartbeat of NHMA's mission, helping eliminate health disparities in Latino communities through local action and connection. Each chapter hosts open events that welcome healthcare professionals, students and community advocates who share our commitment to advancing Latino health. Through educational workshops, networking opportunities and community outreach programs, our chapters create meaningful change at the grassroots level.
Chapter EventsNHMA is proud to have chapters across the country that help carry out our mission to empower Hispanic physicians to be leaders who will help eliminate health disparities and improve the health of Hispanics. Our chapters hold both in-person and virtual events throughout the year — these events are open to members already involved in chapters, those interested in joining, and non-members looking to learn more about NHMA. We hope you'll join us for one of our upcoming activations! Upcoming EventsNov 1 | Philadelphia Chapter - Update on Cancer Care in Latinos/Hispanics/Latinx Communities
