Dr. Ana Maria López is Professor of Medical Oncology and Integrative Medicine (ABOIM) & Nutritional Sciences; Faculty Fellow of Jefferson Humanities & Health at Sidney Kimmel Medical College; Director of Integrative Oncology and Associate Director for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center (NCI Designated); and Senior Advisor for Ambulatory Telehealth for Jefferson Health Telemedicine at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.

A board-certified Medical Oncologist, Dr. López’s clinical expertise includes women’s malignancies, integrative medicine and oncology, and telehealth. She is President-Emeritus of the American College of Physicians, the largest medical specialty organization in the U.S. Her deep commitment to health equity is evident through her work with the American Society of Clinical Oncology as former Chair of the Health Equity Committee, and with the Association of American Medical Colleges, where she serves on the Steering Committee for the Group on Women in Medicine and Science. Her areas of expertise and research include cancer prevention, integrative oncology, and innovation in healthcare. Dr. López was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award from Al DÍA News Media in February 2022.
