The National Hispanic Medical Association (NHMA) is proud to partner with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on the Let’s Stop HIV Together (Together) campaign, a powerful national movement dedicated to ending the HIV epidemic in the United States.
Rooted in the goals of the Ending the HIV Epidemic in the U.S. (EHE) initiative and the National HIV/AIDS Strategy, this partnership reflects our shared mission to empower communities, eliminate stigma and ensure everyone has access to prevention, testing and treatment no matter who they are or where they live.
At NHMA, we are expanding this message across our network of physicians, medical students and community partners because health equity begins with awareness, compassion and action.
Impact on Our Communities (2024-2025)
From 2024 through 2025, NHMA’s partnership with the CDC’s Let’s Stop HIV Together campaign focused on empowering Hispanic and Latino communities across the country. Together, we worked to increase awareness, reduce stigma and expand access to HIV prevention, testing and treatment resources.
Through outreach, education and collaboration with health care professionals, NHMA strengthened community engagement and promoted equitable care for all.
