NHMA and the National Dairy Council (NDC) are teaming up in a multi-year partnership to bring the benefits of dairy to the Hispanic community. By combining NHMA's dedication to health with NDC's nutrition expertise this collaboration delivers trusted culturally relevant resources for health care professionals and families helping everyone make informed choices for healthier lives.
Why This Matters
Hispanic communities face unique health challenges related to nutrition and chronic disease. Misconceptions about lactose intolerance often limit dairy intake, reducing essential nutrients like calcium, vitamin D and potassium. Including dairy in the diet can support heart health, bone health, diabetes management and overall wellness.
