NCCDPHP leads national efforts to promote health and well-being through the prevention and control of chronic diseases. The center’s strategic priorities are strengthening epidemiology and surveillance, promoting environmental improvement to increase opportunities for health, strengthening health systems to effectively deliver preventive services, and promoting linkages between the community and clinical settings to better manage chronic conditions. 

The Division for Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention employs these and other strategies as the lead federal agency for heart disease and stroke prevention and management.  The division supports state, local, tribal and territorial heart disease and stroke prevention programs that help millions of Americans prevent and control high blood pressure and reduce other risk factors for heart disease and stroke. These efforts aim to lower death rates from heart disease and stroke, which are the first and fifth leading causes of death in the United States. The Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center Department of Psychiatry s currently recruiting board eligible/certified psychiatrists for inpatient and outpatient positions in both adult and child psychiatry.

Morris Heights Health Center is a leading nonprofit provider of integrated health care for New Yorkers. We have a great opportunity in our Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) for an Ob/Gyn generalist to join our expanding women’s health practice committed to delivering top quality patient care in a culturally competent manner.

This busy practice currently consists of two highly trained Board Certified OB/GYN Physicians and five Certified Nurse Midwives with extensive community health experience. There is a balanced mix of OB and GYN patients with the opportunity to perform office gynecological procedures.

NYS license and certification is required. Spanish speaking skills are a plus. This job is purely ambulatory and there is no on-call required.  One Saturday per month is a requirement. The schedule is Flexible.

The LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, along with Ochsner LSU Health System Shreveport, seeks a Chair of the Department of Pediatrics. The new chair will provide leadership to the department with the development and implementation of a dynamic vision for its future, while also working with the Dean and other Department Chairs in the ongoing evolution and success of the School.  Under the leadership of Chancellor G.E. Ghali, DDS, MD, FACS, FRCS(Ed), the Chair will build on an excellent foundation of over 50 full- and part-time faculty and work collaboratively with other departments.

The University’s primary teaching hospital, Ochsner LSU Health System-Shreveport, serves as a tertiary care referral center and regional trauma center for North Louisiana, East Texas and South Arkansas.  The Department also works closely with the local Shiners Hospital for Children. Overall, the combined facilities provide extensive experience in outpatient and inpatient care, including well-child care, acute care, and pediatric subspecialty care.
